The Company

Eisai Manufacturing serves as the hub of Eisai’s production and supply chain activities, including:

  • Manufacturing tablets, blister packaging, vials, and bottles
  • Managing the wider medicines supply chain
  • Overseeing external partners who perform work on behalf of the company

This role ensures production equipment is available for operators, enabling the delivery of production schedules while supporting operational excellence and compliance with:

  • Eisai Corporate Standards
  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
  • GDP (Good Distribution Practice)
  • Quality System requirements

Working hours: Double shifts

  • 06:00–14:00
  • 14:00–22:00

Key Responsibilities

  • Dismantle, clean, and reassemble production equipment and areas
  • Set up and verify production equipment ensuring correct functionality and calibration
  • Operate production equipment and automated systems within validated process parameters
  • Perform:
    • In-process testing
    • Sampling, inspections, and yield calculations
  • Complete batch records and production documentation accurately
  • Maintain high GMP and health & safety compliance standards
  • Record and monitor performance metrics, including:
    • Equipment utilisation
    • Right-first-time rates
    • Schedule adherence
  • Conduct facility cleaning, including sink and drain disinfection
  • Support manual packaging activities as required
  • Participate in:
    • Quality investigations
    • Continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure expectations are met
  • Remain flexible to support business and production schedule demands

  • Experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of GMP / GDP / quality standards
  • High attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to proactive safety—ensuring all incidents and risks are reported
  • Demonstration of a safety-first approach
  • Dedication to producing high-quality products through strict adherence to procedures
