Vertu Motors – Service Plan Sales Advisor

The Opportunity
Join our Service Plan Sales team at our Head Office in Team Valley, Gateshead on a 39-hour working week (5 days).
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 9.30 AM to 6 PM Friday: 9.30 AM to 5 PM (No weekend working)
Remuneration
- Competitive basic salary with on-target earnings of £29,216.78
- First-year earnings would therefore be ~£35,000 with guaranteed bonus and/or performance-related earnings

About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Calling existing customers to advise them on purchasing a service plan to save on future service costs, tyre replacements, MOT, and repairs.
- Encouraging investment in priority service plans tailored to individual needs.
- Explaining servicing and MOT requirements, features, and benefits of service plans.
- Overcoming customer objections with transparency and confidence.
(Vertu Motors practises total transparency—you’ll never be pressured to sell products you don’t fully believe in.)
About You
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven sales background preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong IT knowledge.
