What you would do as our Service Planner Assistant
Reporting to the Service Operations Planning Manager , you will be responsible for supporting the Service Planners activities, dealing with customers and working extensively with the planning system.
You would also:
Respond to customer call ‑ outs by logging emergency requests in the planning system, answering incoming calls, handling customer queries promptly, and providing excellent customer service at all times. Coordinate planned works by ordering plants and materials from internal and third ‑ party suppliers, arranging collections, and working closely with the Service Planning team to ensure efficient and cost ‑ effective planning. Communicate with customers via telephone and email to provide arrival times, notify of delivery delays, confirm job completion, and chase purchase order numbers when required. Update internal systems to confirm job completion, trigger accurate invoices, and authorize supplier invoices for payment. Support administrative and planning activities to ensure smooth service delivery and accurate documentation throughout the job lifecycle.

The Skills And Experience You Need
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience in similar administrative roles. The ability to prioritise and organise your own workload. I sable to work closely with peers and be a significant contributor to the success of the planning team. Ability to use various IT systems – including customers own bespoke systems Knowledge of CRM Systems and portals and invoicing systems will be a plus
