Service Planner
£30,000 - £35,000 | Outskirts of Leeds | Free Onsite Parking
Are you an experienced Service Planner with a background in coordinating engineers and managing maintenance, breakdowns, and repair schedules?
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys keeping things organised, and can confidently juggle changing priorities while delivering excellent customer service. If you're an experienced planner who can keep engineers moving and customers informed, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a full-time, office-based role working Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.
The Role
As Service Planner, you'll be responsible for coordinating the daily workload of a team of field-based engineers, ensuring maintenance visits, repairs, and emergency breakdowns are scheduled efficiently. You'll be the key link between customers, engineers, and internal departments, helping to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule maintenance, repair, and breakdown work for field engineers.
- Liaise with customers to arrange appointments and provide updates.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure materials and equipment are available before work begins.
- Maintain accurate job records within the scheduling system.
- Provide engineers with all relevant job information before attending site.
- Monitor engineer workloads and adjust schedules to accommodate urgent call-outs.
- Communicate regularly with engineers, customers, and colleagues to ensure a high level of service.
- Support the team in achieving service and operational targets.
- Follow company health and safety procedures.
- Assist with other administrative and planning duties as required.

About You
You'll already have experience in a planning or scheduling role, ideally supporting field-based engineers. You'll have:
- Previous experience planning engineers' workloads.
- Experience scheduling planned maintenance, reactive breakdowns, and repairs.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and engineers.
- Good attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- The ability to remain calm and adaptable when priorities change.
- Experience using planning, scheduling, or job management systems.
- A proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach.
