We manage all aspects of coaches, buses, taxis, and coordinators which are provided for rail replacement, special events, school support, and train crew support. What You'll Be Doing

As our Service Planning and Delivery Manager, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with Train Operating Companies (TOCs) to understand their transport needs and create effective, efficient plans.
  • Schedule rail replacement road transport services that are not only robust but also customer-centric, ensuring high-quality journeys.
  • Create Detailed Briefings to inform all stakeholders, guiding them through operational plans.
  • Diagram Timetables and procure bus services while ensuring compliance with UK/EU driving regulations.
  • Source reliable and high-quality taxi, bus, or coach suppliers.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers, attending meetings to ensure smooth operations.
  • Analyse Data to optimize service delivery and react to any changes in train schedules effectively.
  • Maintain Our Taxi Database, coordinating bookings and managing relationships with reliable operators.
  • Seek New Business Opportunities to expand ARTS services and enhance our offerings.

What You Bring

  • Communication Skills: You can engage confidently with diverse stakeholders, from TOCs to taxi operators.
  • Negotiation Skills: You can drive positive commercial outcomes.
  • Organisational Skills: You thrive in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workloads effectively.
  • Tech: Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is a must; you’re comfortable analyzing data and producing reports.
  • Attention to Detail: You ensure thoroughness in every task, from scheduling to invoicing.
  • Team Spirit: You work well both independently and collaboratively, adapting to any situation.
  • Geographical Knowledge: Familiarity with UK geography is a plus, but not essential.
  • Industry Insight: Knowledge of drivers’ hours rules and passenger transport operations is desirable, but we’re open to training the right candidate!
