What You'll Be Doing
As our Service Planning and Delivery Manager, you’ll:
- Collaborate with Train Operating Companies (TOCs) to understand their transport needs and create effective, efficient plans.
- Schedule rail replacement road transport services that are not only robust but also customer-centric, ensuring high-quality journeys.
- Create Detailed Briefings to inform all stakeholders, guiding them through operational plans.
- Diagram Timetables and procure bus services while ensuring compliance with UK/EU driving regulations.
- Source reliable and high-quality taxi, bus, or coach suppliers.
- Liaise with internal and external customers, attending meetings to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyse Data to optimize service delivery and react to any changes in train schedules effectively.
- Maintain Our Taxi Database, coordinating bookings and managing relationships with reliable operators.
- Seek New Business Opportunities to expand ARTS services and enhance our offerings.

What You Bring
- Communication Skills: You can engage confidently with diverse stakeholders, from TOCs to taxi operators.
- Negotiation Skills: You can drive positive commercial outcomes.
- Organisational Skills: You thrive in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workloads effectively.
- Tech: Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is a must; you’re comfortable analyzing data and producing reports.
- Attention to Detail: You ensure thoroughness in every task, from scheduling to invoicing.
- Team Spirit: You work well both independently and collaboratively, adapting to any situation.
- Geographical Knowledge: Familiarity with UK geography is a plus, but not essential.
- Industry Insight: Knowledge of drivers’ hours rules and passenger transport operations is desirable, but we’re open to training the right candidate!
