Service Promotions Executive

Field Executive / Service Promotions Executive SpaMedica – Derby & Surrounding Areas (Derbyshire, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire)

About the Role

SpaMedica is seeking a driven and charismatic Field Executive / Service Promotions Executive to promote its NHS ophthalmology services across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, and Nottinghamshire. Ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy proactive outreach, and are passionate about making a tangible difference in healthcare.

As the key face of SpaMedica’s expansion, you will represent the organisation with professionalism and enthusiasm—building relationships with referrers (such as GP practices, optometrists, and ophthalmic professionals) while driving engagement with our services.

Full-time position (37.5 hrs/week) with a competitive salary, annual reviews, and a supportive benefits package. Must reside within the designated catchment area.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass the following core duties:

  • Promotion & Sales

    • Proactively promote SpaMedica’s clinical services (including hospital locations, referral processes, patient benefits, and emerging developments) to existing and prospective referrers.
    • Drive awareness of new products, partnerships, and co-management programmes (e.g., optometrist schemes).
    • Champion how SpaMedica delivers superior ophthalmology care via pathways, technology, and patient experiences.
  • Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with ophthalmic professionals (GPs, healthcare providers, and key stakeholders).
    • Be the primary point of contact for queries, complaints, and service feedback. Escalate issues as necessary with internal teams.
    • Develop a wide network of referral sources and track engagement via our internal administration system.
  • Travelling & Route Planning

    • Independent route planning across Derby, Nottingham, and adjacent areas. Flexibility to visit new territories as SpaMedica grows.
    • Accurate recording of all meetings, key outcomes, and new referrers in the administration system.
    • Attend clients, events, and promotional activities, such as:
      • hospital open evenings
      • conference exhibitions (e.g., ophthalmic trade shows)
      • industry training sessions
  • Audit & Analytics

    • Monitor territories to identify market share potential and discuss avenues for growth with SpaMedica’s development team.
    • Adhere to monthly KPIs, with periodic reviews on delivery modes such as:
      • referrer conversions
      • attendance at training sessions
      • system engagement levels

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
