Role Responsibilities
As the sole provider for the free-issue coffee bar, this role operates in full autonomy to:
- Beverage Expertise: Prepare a full spectrum of hot drinks including specialty coffees, matcha, and iced beverages to hospitality standards.
- Independent Operations: Manage day-to-day bar functionality—from stock comptes and ordering to ensuring beverage quality.
- *Hospitality: Maintain excellent hospitality using phenicity at every interaction. Deliver spotless, seamless service throughout the workday.
Key Notes:
- Overtime flexibility available for ad-hoc events (tos negotiate separately).
- Critical independent decision-making required for fast-paced environments.
- Problem-solving and adaptability are paramount. This isn’t a paired-back role.

Additional Supervision & Logistics

- Delegate task accordingly when collaborating with catering staff (i.e., handling server/chef queries).
- Quality monitoring: Ensure coffee beverages and set presentation align with expectations—promptly correct any standards slips.
- Basic logistics: Coordinate any bar setup breakdown needs while aligning with event coordinators.

Essential: ✅ Hospitality experience (proven experience). ✅ Barista proficiency—top-tier mastery with a specialty in specialty coffee. ✅ Unwavering passion for food plus bonding as friend/support in roles. ✅ Empowerment/leadership experience: Mentoring, training, supportive supervision. ✅ Delegation ability, tailored feedback-corrective frameworks. ✅ Disciplined organisational skills: Attention to detail without obsession. ✅ Leverage through adaptability—deride diastolic drama, always the solution provider.
