SERVICE SUPERVISOR - COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES

We're looking for a passionate and capable Service Supervisor to lead a team of Disability Support Workers delivering high-quality, person-centred supports to people living with disability. This is an opportunity to combine leadership, coaching, operational oversight and relationship management while helping people achieve their goals and live meaningful lives.
No two days are the same, and you'll play a vital role in ensuring our services are safe, responsive and focused on positive outcomes.
What you will be doing
As a Service Supervisor, you'll provide day-to-day leadership across a portfolio of disability services, supporting both participants and your team to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Working closely with your Operations Manager and internal support teams, you'll oversee service delivery, build staff capability and ensure services operate in line with NDIS Practice Standards and organisational policies.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Disability Support Workers.
- Coach staff in person-centred practice, Active Support and behaviour support strategies.
- Manage performance, recruitment, onboarding and employee development.
- Work alongside rostering to ensure services remain appropriately staffed.
- Build strong relationships with participants, families, allied health professionals and external stakeholders.
- Monitor documentation, medication compliance, client plans and service quality.
- Drive continuous improvement while promoting a positive team culture.
- Develop and implement innovative programs of support that enhance participant outcomes, promote independence and respond to individuals goals.

What you will bring
You're an experienced people leader who enjoys developing teams, solving problems and delivering exceptional outcomes for participants.
- Leadership experience within Disability, Community Services, Aged Care or Human Services.
- Experience leading teams supporting people with complex behaviours and high support needs.
- Strong understanding of person-centred practice and NDIS service delivery.
- Confidence managing employee performance, coaching and staff development.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

What you will need
- Certificate III or above in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or related field, together with demonstrated experience leading teams in the disability or community services sector.
- Current unrestricted Driver Licence.
- National Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Ability to travel within the region as required.
