T H White Groundcare is recruiting for a Service Technician to join our Stourport workshop and train to become a professional groundscare engineer. This is a varied role working on commercial groundcare equipment for customers including golf courses, local authorities, contractors, and grounds maintenance teams.
You’ll represent leading brands including Toro, Iseki, Amazone, Ferris, Ventrac, and Wessex.
Our Service Technicians work on the latest equipment in our sector including a wide range of advanced commercial (ride on and walk behind) mowers, compact tractors & attachments, wood chippers, and spider remote controlled mowers.
Hours
39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:00 and Friday 07:30–15:00
Key Duties Will Include
- Service, repair, and maintain commercial groundcare machinery.
- Strip, regrind, and set up cylinder cutting units and blades.
- Carry out cylinder sharpening and cutting unit work.
- Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, engine, and basic electrical faults.

The Ideal Applicant
- Experience in groundcare, plant, agricultural machinery, hire equipment, forklifts, HGVs, or automotive repair.
- Greenkeepers with strong machinery maintenance experience will also be considered.
- Good mechanical & hydraulic fault-finding and repair skills.
- Good basic electrical knowledge and confidence using diagnostic laptops or software would be beneficial.
- Experience with cutting units, cylinder grinding, or fine turf machinery would be desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
