Role Description
This full-time, on-site Service Technician role is based in Brightlingsea and focuses on maintaining and servicing energy infrastructure equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacements
- Participate in installation and commissioning activities
- Document all work completed and follow safety and compliance procedures
- Respond to service calls and assist with preventative maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure equipment reliability
- Provide clear communication to internal stakeholders regarding equipment status and service needs
Qualifications & Experience
Technical & Job-Specific Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial or energy-related equipment and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and service documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including diagnosing faults and identifying repair methods
- Comfortable working in on-site, demanding environments with a focus on safety and compliance
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- Industrial maintenance
- Experience in the energy sector is an advantage
