As a global leader in power technologies and services, we are looking for a highly motivated Service Tendering Specialist to join our growing Service team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering competitive service solutions that support our customers throughout the lifecycle of their assets. Working collaboratively across Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Service Operations, you will be responsible for developing high-quality technical and commercial proposals that drive business growth while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. How You'll Make An Impact
- Prepare and manage competitive service tenders, quotations, and estimates, ensuring the best technical and commercial solution for each customer requirement.
- Develop accurate and comprehensive bid documentation, including detailed cost calculations, pricing, and supporting technical information.
- Coordinate all technical, financial, commercial, contractual, and project-related aspects of bid submissions in collaboration with the wider Service team.
- Build strong relationships with customers, providing technical support and ensuring a positive experience throughout the sales process.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate commercial, technical, and contractual risks within bids, quotations, and customer agreements.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to identify suitable vendors and evaluate supplier proposals against technical and commercial specifications.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality tender submissions that meet customer and business requirements.
- Champion Hitachi Energy's core values of Safety and Integrity by taking accountability for your actions while supporting colleagues, customers, and the wider business.

Background
- Previous experience in tendering, bid management, estimating, proposals, or commercial support within an engineering, utilities, energy, or industrial environment.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness with the ability to analyse costs, pricing structures, contracts, and risk.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and develop customer-focused service solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in working with ERP, CRM, or tender management systems.
