This is a full-time, on-site role for a Service Workshop Engineer based in Burton Latimer. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of vehicle-mounted access platforms. Key tasks include:
- Diagnostic assessments
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Ensuring platform safety and compliance
- Preparing equipment for operations
The role also involves maintaining workshop efficiency and adhering to company and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair of heavy equipment and vehicle-mounted machinery
- Experience working in Workshop environments with technical understanding of access platforms or similar equipment
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with team members and relay technical information effectively
- Ability to provide or participate in Training sessions for proper equipment use and best practices
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and quality
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, mechanics, or a related technical discipline
- Previous experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems is preferred
