Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

The Skills You'll Need:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

Your New Salary:

  • £40-42 per hour
  • Equivalent of £80,000 per annum

Location:

  • Central London

Employment Type:

  • Agency temp (PAYE), possible extension or permanent

Working Hours:

  • 37.5 hours

ServiceNow Developer - What You'll be Doing:

This role is ideal for a developer with solid ServiceNow platform experience who enjoys building high-quality solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously developing their technical skills.

  • Work alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver new capabilities and enhancements across our ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop, configure, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical solutions with support from senior engineers where required.
  • Build, test, and deploy platform enhancements following established engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Support integration development using REST/SOAP APIs where required.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve production defects.
  • Contribute to code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
  • Produce clear technical documentation for delivered solutions.

ServiceNow Developer - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Previous experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Hands-on experience developing Service Portal solutions.
  • Strong ServiceNow platform development experience.
  • Strong JavaScript development skills.
  • Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience working within an Agile delivery environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exposure to the ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) module.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
