ServiceNow Developer
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will: Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC, and CSM. Develop custom applications, workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and script includes using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs. Implement and configure integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and MID Server. Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, best-practice ServiceNow solutions. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and best practices. Support platform administration, patching, upgrades, and instance management across development, testing, and production environments. Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver secure and efficient solutions. Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and operational runbooks. Provide third-line support for incidents, problems, and change requests related to the ServiceNow platform. Work within secure environments while adhering to established security and data handling protocols. What You Bring to the Table: 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with hands-on development across multiple ServiceNow modules. Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, script includes, and Flow Designer. Experience with ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB. Solid knowledge of ServiceNow integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, Integration Hub, and MID Server. Hands-on experience with Update Sets, Automated Test Framework (ATF), and instance cloning. Good understanding of ITIL v3/v4 processes and their implementation within ServiceNow. Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Active SC Clearance is mandatory. You Should Possess the Ability to: Design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business requirements. Develop and maintain complex workflows, automations, and integrations. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex platform issues efficiently. Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines. Follow ServiceNow development standards, governance frameworks, and security requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives through automation and process optimization. Work independently and as part of a cross-functional Agile team.
