Independent Consultant Engagement | 7-Month Assignment | Immediate Start

Our client, a global provider of technology services to multinational organisations, is seeking an experienced consultant to provide ServiceNow DevOps delivery leadership within a complex enterprise environment. The engagement requires a combination of technical leadership, delivery governance, platform expertise and stakeholder management to support the ongoing evolution, stability and performance of the ServiceNow estate.

The successful consultant will provide leadership across DevOps delivery activities, coordinate multi-party teams, drive operational improvements and establish effective governance to ensure the successful delivery of platform changes, enhancements and releases.

Scope of Services

The consultant will be expected to:

  • Provide leadership and coordination across the ServiceNow DevOps function, ensuring the effective delivery of agreed platform objectives and priorities.
  • Lead and direct DevOps delivery activities across client, supplier and third-party teams, promoting collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Guide the prioritisation and management of platform demand, including incidents, changes and enhancement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Oversee the end-to-end DevOps lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, deployment processes and environment governance.
  • Assess and enhance the DevOps operating model, embedding best practices in automation, monitoring, standardisation and service reliability.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate governance forums, reporting structures and stakeholder engagement activities to support effective decision-making and delivery oversight.
  • Act as a senior liaison across business stakeholders, IT teams, systems integrators and technology vendors, ensuring alignment on priorities, risks and delivery outcomes.
  • Define, monitor and improve delivery KPIs, service performance measures and operational metrics, driving continuous optimisation and platform scalability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
