ServiceNow Tech Lead
As a ServiceNow Tech Lead, you will be responsible for defining and governing the overall ServiceNow platform architecture, strategy, and roadmap across the organisation. You will design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with enterprise standards, while driving platform innovation and ensuring effective governance, integration, and performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, HRSD, and IRM.
- Define and maintain the ServiceNow architecture roadmap aligned with business and enterprise objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Leverage ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist and intelligent workflows, to enhance platform value.
- Architect integrations between ServiceNow and external systems such as AWS, Azure, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Optimise platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency through effective design and configuration.
- Establish governance frameworks covering data management, access controls, and platform configurations.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing recommendations on ServiceNow capabilities, automation, and architecture.
- Lead platform upgrades, patching, and enhancement activities with minimal operational impact.
- Produce architecture documentation, including solution designs, workflows, and implementation guidelines.

Your Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in ServiceNow architecture, design, and implementation.
- Strong expertise across ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, and CMDB.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, and MID Server.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, and workflows.
- Experience designing scalable solutions and optimising CMDB structures and platform performance.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow deployment processes, update sets, version control, and governance frameworks.
- Experience delivering large-scale ServiceNow programmes in Agile environments.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent certification.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Salesforce ecosystems.
- Exposure to AI and automation capabilities within ServiceNow.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide ServiceNow platform transformation programmes.
