About the Role

The ServiceNow Platform Architect is responsible for defining the overall architecture, strategy, and governance of the ServiceNow platform across the organization. This role ensures scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end ServiceNow solutions, including:

  • ITSM (IT Service Management)
  • ITOM (IT Operations Management)
  • ITBM (IT Business Management)
  • ITAM (IT Asset Management)
  • HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery)
  • Other ServiceNow applications.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and technical teams to define the architectural vision and roadmap for ServiceNow implementations.

• Map ServiceNow’s AI capabilities—such as Now Assist, Agentic workflows, and AI Control Tower—to business objectives.

• Oversee the customization and configuration of ServiceNow modules, ensuring best practices and scalability.

• Architect integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring:

  • The adoption of best practices.
  • Consistent and high-quality coding standards.

• Identify opportunities to optimize ServiceNow environments for:

  • Performance
  • Usability
  • Cost-efficiency, including reviewing:
    • Data models
    • Integrations
    • Workflows

• Establish governance processes to ensure:

  • The integrity, security, and compliance of ServiceNow environments.
  • Proper management of:
    • Data
    • Access control
    • System configurations.

• Act as a subject matter expert, providing advice and recommendations to clients on:

  • ServiceNow architecture
  • Process automation
  • Platform capabilities.

• Produce comprehensive solution documentation, including:

  • Architecture diagrams
  • Workflows
  • Implementation guides.

• Lead efforts for:

  • System upgrades
  • Patch rollouts
  • Platform enhancements—to ensure minimal impact on operations while aligning with new ServiceNow releases and features.
