ServiceNow Technical Lead | Fully Remote (UK) | Up to £130k
MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively partnered with a fast-growing US consulting and engineering firm as they grow their engineering presence across the UK.
Our client delivers complex ServiceNow implementations for enterprise customers globally and is now hiring a hands-on Technical Lead to own ITOM delivery end to end.
In this role you will get exposure to cutting-edge ServiceNow technologies, AI, automation, DevOps, observability, and cloud integrations - it's not just traditional ITSM work!
What you'll be doing:
- Leading full ITOM implementations including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and AIOps
- Hands-on development: business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACLs
- Building third party integrations via REST, SOAP and mid servers
- Working directly with enterprise customers, owning delivery independently
- Getting exposure to AWS, GCP, Azure, Jenkins and modern CI/CD tooling alongside the platform

What they're looking for:
- Deep, genuinely hands-on ServiceNow development experience
- Proven ITOM implementation ownership, ideally cloud-native Discovery and Service Mapping
- Strong JavaScript scripting skills, this is a keyboard role, not an oversight role
- Comfortable running multiple customer engagements simultaneously
- Based in the UK with the right to work
The package:
- Base salary up to £130k dependant on experience

Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on ServiceNow expertise with proven ownership of ITOM implementations spanning Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and AIOps. Strong JavaScript scripting is essential, including business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies and ACLs, alongside third party integration development using REST, SOAP and mid servers. Experience with cloud-native Discovery across AWS, Azure or GCP is highly desirable, as is familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and GitHub. The role suits a senior engineer comfortable managing multiple customer implementations simultaneously while mentoring junior team members through technical roadblocks.
