ServiceNow Technical Architect – Senior Manager

Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a global technology consulting leader to recruit an experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect – Senior Manager. This is an opportunity to join a market-leading ServiceNow practice delivering complex digital transformation programmes for some of the world's largest enterprise organisations.

As a senior technical leader, you will shape solution architecture, provide strategic technical direction, and act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders while leading high-performing delivery teams.

The Role

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for driving the technical success of large-scale ServiceNow programmes, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with both business objectives and platform best practices.

You'll work closely with clients, delivery teams and senior leadership to architect innovative solutions while mentoring technical teams and influencing long-term platform strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and technical design of enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable platform solutions.
  • Act as the technical authority across multiple ServiceNow engagements.
  • Provide governance through architecture reviews, design assurance and code quality standards.
  • Lead, mentor and develop teams of ServiceNow Developers and Technical Leads.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and provide strategic technical guidance.
  • Design and oversee complex integrations between ServiceNow, enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client environments and deliver additional business value.
  • Contribute to the evolution of delivery methodologies, technical standards and best practices.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging ServiceNow capabilities, AI and cloud technologies.

About You

You'll be an accomplished ServiceNow Technical Architect with extensive enterprise delivery experience and a proven track record of leading technical teams within consulting or large-scale enterprise environments.

You should be comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders, influencing technical strategy and providing architectural leadership across complex transformation programmes.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
  • Expert-level ServiceNow development and technical architecture experience.
  • Proven experience operating within a Technical Design Authority (TDA) or Architecture Governance function.
  • Experience acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and business leaders.
  • At least five years leading, mentoring and developing ServiceNow technical teams.
  • Strong experience implementing technical governance, architecture reviews and coding standards.
  • Advanced JavaScript development and scripting expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and enterprise integrations.
  • SQL and integration design experience.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience delivering solutions across multiple ServiceNow product lines such as ITOM, ITAM, HAM/SAM, HRSD, CSM and SPM.

Certifications

Ideally you'll hold:

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
  • Five or more ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
  • Certified System Administrator (CSA).

A desire to progress towards ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) is highly desirable.

Desirable Experience

  • Cloud migration programmes.
  • AI and Generative AI initiatives.
  • ITIL v4 certification.
  • Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
