ServiceNow Technical Lead
Location: Wokingham, UK
Working Pattern: Office Based (will consider hybrid arrangements 2/3 days a week)
Contract: 6 Months
Day Rate: £425-525 per day (Inside IR35)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced ServiceNow Technical Lead to join a major enterprise transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ServiceNow professional to lead technical delivery across a complex enterprise environment while working with the latest ServiceNow technologies, including AI capabilities.
The Role
As the ServiceNow Technical Lead, you will take ownership of the technical design, development, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions. You will provide technical leadership to the development team, collaborate with key stakeholders, and drive continuous platform improvement while ensuring alignment with best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery and ongoing enhancement of the ServiceNow platform.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Oversee platform configuration, administration, and governance.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to ServiceNow developers.
- Review business processes and identify opportunities to maximize platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define ITSM processes and workflows.
- Drive the implementation of ServiceNow AI capabilities including Now Assist, Agentic Workflows, and AI Control Tower.
- Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow best practices and organizational standards.
Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years' experience delivering enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
- Strong experience across modules such as ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and/or IRM.
- Excellent knowledge of CMDB and Common Services Data Model (CSDM).
- Experience with Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and service management best practices.
- Experience leading large-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and contractors.
- ServiceNow Application Developer certification is advantageous.
- ITIL v4 certification is desirable.
