Services Assistant
Services Assistant – Store-Based Role
Working in our stores
Our stores are fast-paced environments where no two days are ever the same. They’re at the heart of the local community, delivering outstanding value, quality, and exceptional service. As a Services Assistant, you’ll make a real difference—providing that special ingredient for a fantastic shopping experience.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be above the school-leaving age in their country (GOV.UK guideline)
- Be at least 18 years old if shifts include hours before 6am or after 11pm
- Have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
Key Responsibilities
You’ll support customers with:
- Checkout, self-service, and kiosk operations
- **On-demand grocery ordering — picking and selecting premium products
- **Click & Collect parcel assistance
- Product knowledge on promotions, services, and recommendations
- Customer-facing tasks—complaints, refunds, shelf checks, and advertising
- Store operations—managing trolleys in customer car parks
Flexibility is key: balancing duties across the store, from mechanics to administrative tasks, as required. Training will equip you with a full range of skills to grow and explore new opportunities.
