Join Headway and make a meaningful difference by leading key services, supporting families in crisis, and delivering compassionate, high-quality frontline support for those affected by brain injury.
Location
Hybrid: Minimum two days per week at the Nottingham office. Remaining time can be office based or home based.
Salary
£25,750 (permanent position, 35 hours per week)
Annual Leave
- 25 days per annum (incrementally increasing to 30 days with long service)
- Additional day off for your birthday (excluding bank holidays)
About the Role
We’re seeking a Services Co-ordinator to help improve the lives of the 150,000 people and their families admitted to hospital annually with a brain injury. This role involves taking the lead on critical Headway UK projects, working closely with colleagues in the wider Services Department to ensure exceptional support is delivered.
Responsibilities
As Services Co-ordinator, your key duties will include:

Emergency Fund Support
- Lead processing of applications for the emergency support fund, which provides travel and accommodation grants to family members when a loved one is hospitalised.
- Assess applications, make funding recommendations, signpost where appropriate, maintain detailed records and produce annual financial reports.

Solicitor’s Directory Maintenance
- Ensure the annual renewal of the Headway UK Solicitor’s Directory, keeping it the go-to resource for users seeking specialist solicitors with brain injury case experience.

Training Programme Stewardship
- Provide effective administrative support to the training programme, including:
- Managing the training mailbox, responding to enquiries
- Processing and distributing certificates
- Liaising with delegates and associate trainers

Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Offer exceptional administrative support to colleagues in the wider Services Department.
