Office based with regular community-based work across Greater Manchester and some flexibility for home working

Salary Band 4: £36,648 – £38,223 FTE (pro rata)

We're looking for an experienced, compassionate and proactive registered Social Worker to join our leadership team and help shape the future of Europia's frontline services.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine professional social work practice with service leadership, quality improvement and organisational development within a growing community charity.

Based in Greater Manchester, you'll play a central role in coordinating our frontline services, supporting staff and volunteers through reflective supervision, and embedding high standards of professional practice across immigration advice, advocacy, welfare support, health and wellbeing, volunteering and community services.

You will also lead the development of Europia's new Services Delivery Framework and support the organisation in achieving the Advice Quality Standard (AQS), helping us strengthen the quality, consistency and impact of everything we do.

As part of a small leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to influence how services are designed, delivered and continuously improved, ensuring they remain safe, person-centred, culturally competent and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.

  • Is a qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
  • Has experience leading or supervising frontline practitioners, volunteers or students.
  • Has experience working with individuals or communities experiencing disadvantage, migration-related barriers, poverty, trauma or social exclusion.
  • Is passionate about reflective practice, safeguarding and delivering high-quality services.
  • Has strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple services and priorities.
  • Can build positive relationships with colleagues, volunteers, statutory agencies and community partners.
  • Enjoys developing new systems, improving services and embedding quality standards.
  • Shares our commitment to equality, inclusion and empowering diverse communities.
