Services Manager

Permanent, Full-Time Role (37.5 hours per week) Location: Middlesbrough, with hybrid working (some time in office, primarily on-site in service) Salary: £29,000 per annum + £14.30 per on-call shift payment Leave: 34 days (rising to 39 days), including bank holidays and a "me day"


About the Role

Join Home Group as Services Manager and lead the Elstone team, our newly launched service supporting 16–17-year-olds in developing critical independent living skills. disasters your duties in person-centred housing support, fostering a culture where colleagues thrive and customers achieve the best possible quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:

    • Manage and develop a team of support workers and coordinators to deliver exceptional, human-centered housing services aligned with contractual obligations.
    • Safeguarding Lead: Ensure compliance and rigorous monitoring of health/safety checks, risk assessments, and wellbeing practices.
    • Champion service visibility, ensuring strong relationships with referral agencies and self-referrers to expand reach.
  • Quality & Compliance:

    • Oversee KPIs and customer satisfaction surveys to maintain service excellence—critical as an Ofsted-registered provider.
    • Ensure adherence to Ofsted regulations for supported housing, collaborating closely with the Senior Client Services Manager and Registered Manager.

Key Requirements

  • Strong people skills: Ability to understand and engage with customers at various stages of life, fostering trust and long-term independence.
  • Leadership experience: Ideal fit if you have team management experience and empowering others as a key strength.
  • Housing/Care familiarity: Industry experience in housing, care, or youth support is preferred but not essential.
  • Commitment to compliance: Full adherence to safeguarding protocols, personal responsibility for risk management.
  • Mobility: For off-site work, you must have a vehicle insured for business use—milage reimbursed by Home Group.
