Services Manager

Client Services Manager - Elstone Team Leader

Position Overview

  • Location: Middlesbrough, Elstone Road
  • Working Hours:
    • Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
    • Hybrid role (office/remote), primarily based in service
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • On-call shifts available
  • Salary:
    • £29,000 per annum
    • On-call shift payment: £14.30 per session
    • Leave: 34 days (pro-rated, including bank holidays and a "me day"), rising to 39 days
    • Health Cash Plan: Savings of over £1,140 per year for you and your children
  • No CoS offered for this role

About the Role

The Impact

Join Home Group and lead our Elstone team—a new service providing person-centred housing support to 16- and 17-year-olds transitioning to independence.

Elstone’s mission: ✅ Equip young people with essential independent living skills ✅ Support a smooth, successful tenancy transition ✅ Work with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure sparks collaboration and optimal outcomes

What You’ll Do

Core Responsibilities

✅ Leadership

  • Head a support team focused on delivering person-centred housing support
  • Ensure alignment with contractual obligations and quality standards

✅ Safeguarding & Safeguarding Compliance

  • Serve as Safeguarding Lead for Elstone team
  • Oversee health & safety: risk assessments and record-keeping

✅ Customer & Team Empowerment

  • Champion our Ofsted-registered service to ensure compliance while nurturing outstanding service
  • Drive KPIs through high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction
  • Advance brand visibility and customer access via outreach and marketing

✅ Monitoring & Innovation

  • Maintain quality through regular customer feedback and surveys
  • Collaborate closely with a Senior Client Service Manager and a Registered Manager for service excellence

🔹 Relevant Experience

  • Experience in housing-related or care support roles
  • Client service or managerial experience, ideally in supporting young adults or independent living

🔹 Practical Considerations

  • Requirement for personal vehicle for business use
    • Business mileage is paid

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing a dedicated team (e.g., apartments,宿舍, or independent living)
  • Familiarity with Ofsted standards or compliance frameworks within supported housing
