Esri UK Services Support Administrator Role

As a Services Support Administrator

You'll play a vital role behind the scenes ensuring our day to day processes are followed so projects run smoothly, customers receive accurate information and our teams can focus on delivering successful outcomes.

The role

You'll join our experienced and supportive Services Support team who enjoy sharing knowledge and helping each other succeed. You will develop skills in business operations, project support, financial administration and continuous improvement.

Typical activities

  • Setting up new projects in our systems
  • Checking information for accuracy
  • Responding to colleague enquiries
  • Maintaining records
  • Supporting month-end administration activities

Your responsibilities will include

  • Follow our processes to help ensure accurate financial and project reporting to customers and colleagues, completing week and month end tasks within the required timescales
  • Look after the team email account, responding to queries from around the company, particularly related to financial queries associated with our Services.
  • Quality Assurance – review and check the setup of new projects, enabling the project to commence
  • Identifying Areas for Business Improvement – You will be encouraged to identify areas where business processes maybe improved and contribute to the roll out of changes to business processes
  • Collaborate with your team - You will work with colleagues as part of the Services Support Team as with wider Services team and stakeholders.
  • Grow and develop your expertise and responsibilities as you gain a deeper understanding of our systems and processes. Throughout your time with Esri UK, you will be provided with the training, feedback, coaching and mentoring that you need to be a success in this role and indeed, any future roles as you develop your career with us.

This would be a great career move if you

  • Are a good communicator, organised and looking for a role where you can make a difference by being a really great administrator. You should take pride in doing a great job, with an attention to detail and a love of processes. Multi-tasking, time management and working to deadlines will be second nature to you. Whilst it is not essential, it would be beneficial if you enjoy working with financial data and have some previous experience working in an administrator role. Our key systems use Microsoft and Salesforce, full training will be provided but please do tell us about any relevant experience you have.

Working hours and location

  • Choose a working pattern that suits you – full-time or part-time (minimum 22.5 hours), home-based or hybrid. You are welcome to be home based or work on a hybrid basis working from our Cambridge or Aylesbury offices. Some full day and overnight meetings will be required to attend approx. bi-monthly team and company meetings. These are usually held in Birmingham, Aylesbury, London or Cambridge.
  • You must be entitled to work in the UK, and because of the types of data and clients we work with you must be able to hold SC Security Clearance (we will arrange this for you).
