Cost Management & Process Quality Specialist – Siemens Energy

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain target costs.
- Apply process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen to optimise backend business processes.
- Analyse and enhance workflows.
- Create detailed documentation to support quality assurance initiatives.
- Boost efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate customer satisfaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead target costing efforts for the A20/A35/PT portfolio, ensuring product competitiveness.
- Partner with product and strategy managers to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Apply process improvement and design methodologies to analyse and enhance business processes, increasing efficiency and quality.
- Develop documentation such as:
- Business requirements
- Process maps
- Gap analyses (to support process improvements)
- Support quality assurance, compliance, and change management:
- Training materials for new processes

What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in:
- Product management
- Project/program management
- Supply chain
- Operations
- Support functions.
Preferred:
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a track record of achieving business targets.
- Ability to collaborate across teams effectively.
Technical competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with:
- SAP, PLM, Prioneer, or PumaWeb (a plus).
- Process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen). → Experience in non-manufacturing environments is highly valued.
About the Team
- Report to the Head of A35 New Units.
- Work closely with the Product Lifecycle Team.
- Influence a wide range of functions through expertise in cost management and process quality.
