Looking for Qualified and Unqualified Sessional Childcare Practitioners
We are looking for qualified and unqualified Sessional Childcare Practitioners to come and work in our after-school clubs, Saturday clubs and holiday playschemes across Aberdeenshire.
About the Role
Our Aberdeenshire Clubs and Groups provide specialist care to children and young people with additional support needs giving their families valuable respite and therefore ideal candidates will have experience in working with children and young people with Additional Support Needs (ASN).
We have numerous roles across Aberdeenshire all of which are sessional which means candidates can work with us to choose the most suitable hours.
The salary for these roles are between £13.45 per hour and £13.79 per hour depending on your qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work
This is an ‘as and when required’ role so that we can make sure that your needs and the needs of the groups are both catered for.
Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to deliver high quality early learning and childcare for children and young people; they will be expected to support the Service Manager and the existing team.

The Setting
Our Aberdeenshire groups are for both primary and secondary aged children specifically with ASN and are part of the charity Flexible Childcare Services Scotland (FCSS). FCSS is a national charity that is unique in that parents are able to book childcare by the hour, pay as they go and change their bookings each week. This flexible childcare model helps save families money on their childcare while supporting them back into education and employment, helping to distance the whole family from poverty.
