Sessional Tutor – Beginners Italian (Evening Course)
Location: Quarrendon Adult Learning Centre, Aylesbury
Overview
We are recruiting a sessional Tutor to deliver an evening Beginners Italian language course at our Quarrendon Adult Learning Centre in Aylesbury.

- Languages (such as Beginners Italian)
- Fitness
- Art, Floristry, Sewing, Pottery
- A wide range of Creative Studies subjects

About the Role
We are seeking a tutor with 2–4 hours of flexible teaching commitment per week during the evening.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver weekly classes for 5–11-week courses
- Stretch and challenge learners in language acquisition
- Maintain high-quality teaching standards
- Keep learner progress records

Working Rate:
- £22.76–£35.45 per hour, based on teaching qualifications held

About You
Essential Criteria:
- Hold an introductory teaching/training qualification, such as:
- City & Guilds PTLLS
- Award in Education and Training (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
- A subject-specific qualification in Italian
- Ability to plan and deliver high-quality sessions while managing learner progress tracking
Key Requirements:
- Commit to supporting adult learners to develop knowledge and skills
- Contribute to building a strong learner-centred provision
