About the Role We are seeking an inspiring, dynamic, and committed Lecturer in Travel and Tourism to deliver engaging teaching across Level 2 and 3 qualifications (City & Guilds or NCFE). This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students on their progression journey while sharing your compelling industry expertise within our thriving College Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality teaching and learning for Level 2 and 3 Travel and Tourism qualifications.
- Motivate and mentor students using varied teaching methods that foster engagement and success.
- Assess student progress effectively and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum consistency and educational excellence.
- Employ Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) confidently to manage assessment and administrative tasks.
- Support student progression, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Maintain strong interpersonal and organisational skills while working effectively in large teams.
- Act as a mentor to students, particularly those pursuing career paths in hospitality, tourism, or related fields.

Essential Criteria
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTLS, or equivalent).
- Substantial industry experience in tourism, hospitality, or travel—regardless of qualification background.
- Experience delivering Level 2 and 3 City & Guilds or NCFE Tourism qualifications.
- The ability to inspire, engage, and drive student progression.
- Competent use of Microsoft Office Suite 365 (Excel, Word, Team).
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively in a varied team environment.
Desirable (but not essential):
- A relevant Tourism or Travel qualification.
