Sessional Tutor – Tai Chi Instructor (Part-Time)
Overview
We are recruiting a sessional Tutor(s) to deliver Tai Chi courses in Bourne End, Gerrards Cross, and at our Beaconsfield Centre.

Our Learning for Personal Development team delivers non-accredited courses, including languages, fitness, art, floristry, sewing, pottery, and a wide range of creative studies subjects. If you have relevant teaching skills, hobbies, or subject expertise, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
We are recruiting a flexible part-time tutor to work 2–4 hours per week, either during the day or evening.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver weekly classes across 5–11-week courses.
- Inspire and engage learners, progressively stretching and challenging their knowledge and skills.
- Maintain high standards in session delivery and learner progress records.

Pay Band:
£22.76–£35.45 per hour (depending on teaching qualifications held).

Requirements
Applicants should hold:
- An introductory teaching award such as:
- City & Guilds PTLLS
- Award in Education and Training (or commit to obtaining one within 6 months of appointment)
- Relevant subject-specific qualification in Tai Chi or a related discipline.

- Ability to plan and deliver high-quality sessions.
- Commitment to supporting adult learners in developing their capabilities.
