Sessional Welding Tutor and Assessor
Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a part-time Sessional Welding Tutor and Assessor. This role works 22.5 hours per week at our Slough & Langley College campus on a fixed-term contract. The role pays £35.01 per hour.
Sessional Welding Tutor and Assessor
You will be the College lead for delivering, assessing, and quality assuring our City & Guilds accredited welding qualifications within a practical workshop and classroom environment. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality training programs across a range of welding processes, including MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG, and Oxy-Acetylene, while rigorously embedding and enforcing industry-standard health, safety, and environmental practices.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Monitor and support learner progression
- Conduct weld inspections and testing to BS EN 4872 standards
- Maintain the operational excellence of our welding workshop
We seek someone who has:
- Significant industry experience in welding and fabrication
- Strong technical knowledge of welding engineering principles and engineering drawings
