About the Opportunity

Role Responsibilities
As a SET Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of closures and mechanisms systems across vehicle programmes.
- Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery aligned with programme objectives.
- Acting as a key point of contact, bringing together engineering, design, manufacturing, and supplier inputs to ensure seamless integration and performance of your systems.
- Taking ownership of closures and mechanisms systems from concept through to production, ensuring robust design, delivery, and validation.
- Coordinating activities, managing technical requirements, and supporting issue resolution throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Engaging directly with suppliers to ensure components meet Aston Martin’s quality and performance standards, while also supporting programme timing, cost, and weight targets.
- Driving continuous improvement and ensuring lessons learned are applied across programmes.

About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong engineering experience within automotive or a similar complex manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to closures, mechanisms, or related systems.
- A good understanding of product development processes and the ability to manage components through the full lifecycle.
- Confidence working across multiple teams, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- The ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
