Setting Out Engineer required for a 52-week project with a leading main contractor based in S

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a busy site on a long-term project. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable main contractor on a well-established scheme.

Duties

  • Setting out for all aspects of the project.
  • Carrying out site surveys and checking levels.
  • Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
  • Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinating with the Site Manager and subcontractors.
  • Monitoring quality and ensuring work meets required standards.
  • Supporting the delivery of the project programme.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer on main contractor projects.
  • Proficient in using surveying equipment (Leica, Trimble or similar).
  • CSCS Card (essential).
  • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
