Setting Out Engineer required for a 52-week project with a leading main contractor based in S
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a busy site on a long-term project. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable main contractor on a well-established scheme.
Duties
- Setting out for all aspects of the project.
- Carrying out site surveys and checking levels.
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
- Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings and specifications.
- Coordinating with the Site Manager and subcontractors.
- Monitoring quality and ensuring work meets required standards.
- Supporting the delivery of the project programme.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer on main contractor projects.
- Proficient in using surveying equipment (Leica, Trimble or similar).
- CSCS Card (essential).
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
