What We're Looking For
Minimum Requirements
- Equities Settlements experience
- Experience working within Securities Operations, Investment Operations, Middle Office, or a similar banking operations environment
Desirable
- Corporate Actions experience
- Understanding of SWIFT messaging
- Ability to read, interpret and action Corporate Action SWIFT notifications
- Experience investigating and resolving settlement exceptions
- Cash and position reconciliation experience
- Exposure to the SWIFT MT to MX migration
- Experience using Summit
Key Responsibilities
- Support the settlement of equity transactions
- Process and manage Corporate Action events
- Read, interpret and respond to SWIFT notifications
- Investigate and resolve settlement breaks and exceptions
- Perform cash and position reconciliations
- Liaise with Banking, Treasury, Legal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate transaction processing
- Maintain strong operational controls and minimise operational risk
- Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies

Desired Skills and Experience
EBRD is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Operations professional to join its Banking Services team on an initial 6-month contract.
This role will suit candidates with a background in Equities Settlements, Corporate Actions, Securities Operations, or Investment Banking Operations who can quickly add value within a fast-paced operational environment.

About the Team
You'll be joining a collaborative Banking Services function responsible for supporting the accurate processing, settlement and ongoing management of banking and capital markets transactions. The role offers exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to a highly regarded international financial institution.
If you have strong Settlements experience and exposure to Corporate Actions and SWIFT messaging, we'd welcome a conversation.
