About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Sexual Health Department Leader to provide leadership and management for a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality sexual health services across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a visible and compassionate leader with a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care, developing staff, and driving continuous improvement. You will have strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, the ability to manage change and resources effectively, and a passion for creating a positive, inclusive culture where both patients and staff can thrive.
- Lead and support registered and non-registered staff to deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based care for patients accessing sexual health services, including those requiring support with sexually transmitted infections, HIV care, contraception, and other sexual health needs.
- Oversee patient care standards, staffing, budgets, quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, education, and service development.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient experience and outcomes.
