SHE Advisor - Severn Trent Framework

Location: Wanlip

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

About the Role

As a SHE Advisor, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive, and sustainable working environment. You'll support project teams by ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting site inspections, and promoting a positive safety culture. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, working collaboratively with diverse teams and helping to drive continuous improvement across our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and Kier policies
  • Identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing proactive safety measures
  • Delivering SHE training, toolbox talks, and inductions to promote best practices across teams
  • Investigating incidents and near misses, compiling reports and recommending corrective actions
  • Supporting the development of risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation

What We're Looking For

This role of SHE Advisor is great for you if:

  • You have experience in a health, safety, and environmental role within construction or a relevant industry
  • You hold a NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • You have strong communication skills and enjoy engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • You're confident conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • You hold a Full driving licence and are willing to travel to various sites
