Talented people are the key to our success.
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure delivers some of the UK's most complex and critical infrastructure across six core sectors. Through both major projects and long-term frameworks, we are committed to connecting people, places, and communities through responsible infrastructure.
We are currently looking for a SHE Manager to join our growing team on the Clyde Commercial Framework (CCF) at Faslane. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of a major Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) programme, leading the framework Health & Safety team from Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) through to construction delivery.
Reporting to the Head of SHEQS, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Health & Safety team, providing leadership, guidance and support across the framework while helping to drive a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and legislation.
This role offers the opportunity to establish and develop a high-performing Health & Safety function on a major infrastructure programme, working within a collaborative and supportive project environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the framework Health & Safety team.
- Provide support to the Head of SHEQS across the framework.
- Function as deputy to the Head of SHEQS during periods of absence.
- Promote and maintain a positive Health & Safety culture across all project activities.
- Provide Health & Safety advice and support to project teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and statutory legislation.
- Monitor Health & Safety performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support incident investigations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and reviews across the framework.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure safe planning and delivery of construction activities.
- Support the transition of the framework from ECI into full construction delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
