About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading UK independent MRO, specialising in Boeing and Airbus families, we are recruiting for Airframe Technicians to oversee and perform all maintenance activities, both scheduled and unscheduled.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with customer requirements and defined Lists of Work.
- Adhere to Company procedures and Human Factors principles, ensuring the use of correctly maintained, uniquely identified personal tools, Company tooling, and calibrated test equipment.
- Manage effective internal and external relationships with customers, team members, and support departments, while actively mentoring and developing colleagues.
- Ensure all maintenance documentation and forms are accurately completed and submitted before the end of the shift, in full compliance with MOE Part 2 and Company procedures.
- Promptly notify Engineers of any issues that may impact safety, productivity, or the progress of work.
- Accountability for safety & efficiency improvements with hanger maintenance and general tasks.
- Process and return any unused materials to Stores as soon as practicable, ensuring correct disposal procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain proper storage, blanking, labelling, and protection of aircraft components and tooling in accordance with Company procedures.
- Uphold standard engineering practices related to workplace organisation, cleanliness, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention.
- Identify and recommend improvements to working conditions, practices, and procedures to enhance safety, efficiency, and productivity.
- Assist with hangar facility maintenance and general operational tasks as required.
- Perform any other duties reasonably requested in support of business needs.

Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in aviation or mechanical engineering.
- Good structural knowledge including ability to carry out structural repairs.
- Initial Human Factors, EWIS & Fuel Tank Safety.
- Demonstrates a broad skill-set in maintaining aircraft systems including rigging, component replacement, and modification embodiment.
- Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of aircraft system(s)
- Ability to communicate effectively – active listening and a good standard of verbal and written English skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
