Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) Advisor
Are you passionate about keeping people safe, protecting the environment, and helping teams work to the highest standards? We’re looking for a Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) Advisor to join our growing Connolly team and make a real difference across our projects.
At Connolly, we’re driven by strong values and a genuine commitment to improving homes and communities. If you care about doing the right thing, enjoy working with people, and want a role where every day makes an impact - this could be the perfect next step for you.

The Role
Reporting to our SHEQ Manager, you’ll play a key part in promoting a strong safety culture, supporting our people, and ensuring our projects meet the highest standards.
- You’ll work closely with site teams, managers, and contractors to keep everyone safe, protect the environment, and continuously improve our performance.
- This is a hands-on role where you’ll be out on sites, building relationships, solving problems, and helping others to work safely and confidently.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
