About This Role

Are you a Health and Safety Manager, SHEQ Manager, or HSE Lead looking for a new challenge, or an experienced compliance professional ready to step into a broader Manager of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality role?

This position offers the opportunity to influence business-wide standards while remaining hands-on across operational environments.

  • Acts as a subject matter expert across SHEQ, supporting EMC and wider group operations
  • Leads the development and improvement of systems aligned to:
    • ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
    • ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
    • ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety)
  • Drives a proactive safety culture, embedding accountability and continuous improvement
  • Delivers audits, investigations, and corrective actions to strengthen compliance and performance
  • Partners with managers and operational teams to influence behaviour and raise standards

About You

You should bring:

  • A strong foundation in SHEQ, HSE, or compliance within an operational or engineering-led environment, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
  • Experience spanning from shaping strategy to supporting teams in day-to-day delivery.

Essential:

  • NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum
  • Professional membership (preferred: IOSH or IEMA)
  • Hands-on experience in maintaining and improving:
    • ISO 9001
    • ISO 14001
    • ISO 45001 systems
  • Strong ability to:
    • Conduct audits, investigations, and root cause analysis
    • Challenge constructively and build credibility across teams
