About This Role
Are you a Health and Safety Manager, SHEQ Manager, or HSE Lead looking for a new challenge, or an experienced compliance professional ready to step into a broader Manager of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality role?
This position offers the opportunity to influence business-wide standards while remaining hands-on across operational environments.
- Acts as a subject matter expert across SHEQ, supporting EMC and wider group operations
- Leads the development and improvement of systems aligned to:
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
- ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
- ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety)
- Drives a proactive safety culture, embedding accountability and continuous improvement
- Delivers audits, investigations, and corrective actions to strengthen compliance and performance
- Partners with managers and operational teams to influence behaviour and raise standards
About You
You should bring:
- A strong foundation in SHEQ, HSE, or compliance within an operational or engineering-led environment, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
- Experience spanning from shaping strategy to supporting teams in day-to-day delivery.

Essential:
- NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum
- Professional membership (preferred: IOSH or IEMA)
- Hands-on experience in maintaining and improving:
- ISO 9001
- ISO 14001
- ISO 45001 systems
- Strong ability to:
- Conduct audits, investigations, and root cause analysis
- Challenge constructively and build credibility across teams
