Head of Village Facilities
Location & Compensation
Sherwood Forest £75,000 - £90,000 per annum depending on experience, plus 22% bonus scheme

About the Role
As Head of Village Facilities, you will play a key leadership role within the Village Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the Village Director to ensure our accommodation, assets, and infrastructure consistently meet the highest standards.
You will provide strategic leadership across:
- Housekeeping
- Technical Services
- Accommodation
- Grounds
- Central Buildings
These teams are fundamental to delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring our villages are safe, well-maintained, and presented to a premium standard at all times.
This role is central to operational excellence. You will lead the delivery of:
- Proactive facilities and asset management
- Anticipation of issues before they arise
- Quick and effective resolution when issues occur
Your focus will be unwavering on:
- Safety
- Quality
- Reliability
Driving high standards across every aspect of the village environment through visible leadership, you will foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and pride, empowering your teams to deliver exceptional standards and create memorable experiences for every guest.
Working closely with central teams, you will translate strategic priorities into operational delivery, driving:

- Innovation
- Continuous improvement across the village
Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead all facilities and maintenance operations across the village
- Ensure assets, accommodation, and environments are reliable, well-maintained, and delivered to the highest standards
- Oversee large-scale housekeeping operations, ensuring:
- Consistent quality
- Smooth delivery during peak volumes
- Early risk identification
- Quick issue resolution with minimal disruption
- Partner with the Village Director and central teams to deliver against the Annual Operating Plan

- Support the delivery of capital and operational projects, ensuring:

About You (Requirements)
- Proven leading senior leadership experience in:
- Facilities or operational environments
- Managing complex, high-volume operations
- Strong commercial and operational acumen
- Ability to use data and insights to drive:

- Track record of leading:
- Large teams
- Change, continuous improvement, and modernisation at scale
