Shift Engineer (Multi-Skilled)
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: Up to £48k per annum (DOE)

About the Role
As a Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining production uptime across blow moulding machinery (Extrusion, Injection, and Stretch Blow Moulding) and associated plant equipment. You will work as part of a shift-based engineering team to ensure production continuity and high performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise uptime of all production machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults efficiently during breakdowns
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
- Ensure all maintenance documentation and logs are completed accurately
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the plant
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Collaborate with production teams to minimise disruption and improve efficiency
- Undertake additional duties as reasonably required

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (Plastics, Packaging, FMCG, Food, Beverage, Pharma)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Electrical qualification essential)
- Strong multi-skilled engineering background (Electrical & Mechanical)
- Experience working on automated production machinery
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced shift environment
