GBP57,500 + Overtime
12hr Shifts : 2 Days / 2 Nights / 4 Off : 7:Cycles then 18 days off

Would you like to work for a growing local business, that has the job security of being part of a multi-billion-pound global manufacturer, at their flagship UK site.
They are looking for an experienced Shift Engineer, that is mechanically biased, working a shift rota that gives you 90 days off a year + off days in between shifts
Role and Responsibilities of a Shift Engineer
- Maintain all production, processing, and packaging machinery
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
- Complete PPM and TPM schedules
- Dealing with motors, conveyors, PLCs, gearboxes, drives, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics
- Project work: new machine installs and continuous improvements
- Ordering spares, parts, and maintain site CMMS

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Need to be a Shift Engineer
- Looking for a multi-skilled engineer, with a mechanical bias
- Must have experience of working on industrial production, processing, and packaging machinery
- At least 5 years experience outside of apprenticeship
- Ideally have completed a formal apprenticeship scheme
- NVQ or City Guilds qualified to level 3 or higher
- Must be happy working a rotating shift pattern, with holidays built into a yearly rota
- Computer literate: able to use SAP systems / CMMS
- Experience of working on hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, control panels, gearboxes
- Beneficial if able to do welding, fabrication, and fitting work
- Passionate about reliability engineering, continuous improvements, asset care management
