The Role: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: [TBA] Contract Type: [Permanent]
Join our team to provide critical engineering support in both breakdowns, Preventive Maintenance (PPM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), ensuring smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities

Fault Diagnosis & Repairs
- Identify parts and equipment for electrical/mechanical repairs and process improvements
- Execute electrical and mechanical installations within your skill set, addressing breakdowns with rational, safe decisions
- Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs according to scope and safety standards

Maintenance & Compliance
- Execute unplanned/reactive and preventative maintenance, ensuring safe, high-standard work
- Maintain site assets reliably to meet operational requirements
- Attain engineering excellence through functional support and expertise

Safety & Efficiency
- Apply a rigorous, risk-assessed safe system of work for all activities
- Book parts correctly, optimizing stock levels
- Work collaboratively as a team, bridging engineering, production, and suppliers

KPI Performance
- Drive engineering productivity through completion of KPIs
- Actively engage in strategic planning and process optimization
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering (preferably FMCG or manufacturing environment)
- BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in engineering (HNC and higher preferred)
- Familiarity with European legislation and directives relevant to machinery/safety
- Hands-on experience in electrical/mechanical installations, including PLC diagnostics
- Calm, detail-oriented person who adapts well to pressure and flexible schedules
- Self-motivated problem-solver with a proactive attitude
- Team player who can take own initiative in a fast-paced work environment

- Experience in printing or processing industries
