Shift Lead
Full-time – 36.75 Hours per Week • Permanent Contract
Base Pay: £27,709.50 per annum + Pension + 6.6 Weeks Holiday Location: B&Q Rhyl
Key Detail: This is a keyholder position with shifts spanning from 6am to 10pm.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth running of the store while upholding high standards.
- Ensuring safe, engaging, and efficient operations at all times.
- Deploying colleagues effectively to prioritise customer engagement.
- Serving as the first point of contact for both customers and team members.

Responsibilities
- Oversee shift activities to maintain an excellent working and shopping environment.
- Coordinate colleague schedules and placements to “make every customer count.”
- Address customer and colleague queries confidently and effectively.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to keep the store secure at all times.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and energy, motivating colleagues while leading by example.
Requirements
To excel as a Shift Lead, applicants must possess:
- A passionate commitment to customer satisfaction and ethical conduct.
- The ability to take a global view of the store, remaining adaptable and broad-focused.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail to ensure compliance.
- An enjoyment of team collaboration and inspiration to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Independence to make autonomous decisions swiftly, prioritising customer needs.
