Shift Lead Engineer
Job Purpose
To ensure delivery of the Engineering support to the Northwich site across 24/7, enabling the Engineering team to provide the required levels of service in support of the manufacturing strategy. To ensure the safe, effective and efficient running of the department is maintained through the engineering shift teams. To ensure daily workloads are prioritised and delivered in compliance to site policies and procedures.
What You Will Contribute
- Co-ordinate and prioritise the activities of a shift engineering team in providing support to the operations team
- Monitor the completion of PMs and other equipment inspections
- Operate as senior engineering point of contact for Shift Managers
- Support Short Interval Control, and daily end-of-shift review meetings with Shift Managers
- Participate in Improvement Groups, e.g. wastage reduction
- Complete a clear and comprehensive handover to the incoming shift engineering team

What You Will Bring
- A fully qualified and experienced Engineer (preferably multiskilled) with at least 5 years’ experience
- Trained to 17th Edition Electrical Regulations (desirable)
- Familiar with FMCG environment
- Experienced in leading a team
- An excellent communicator, with the ability to coach and support others
