The Fill Shift Lead Role
Principal responsibility is to lead the fill operation, ensuring the salesfloor is primed for trade. This involves:
- Taking operational responsibility for coordinating resources to execute Serve, Sell and Fill tasks
- Leading the team during the fill operation and during gaps where the Colleague Manager is absent
Key Responsibilities
- Resource Coordination: Oversee the execution of daily operational tasks during the fill operation, as well as in the absence of the Colleague Manager.
- Productivity Excellence: Guide teams on One Best Way and drive overall productivity to ensure store readiness upon opening.
- Quick Payment: Facilitate seamless resource deployment to deliver an efficient payment experience for customers.
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth processes across the store, adhering to deadlines for responsibilities.
- Store Maintenance: Organise teams to maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented environment.
- Team Culture: Foster a positive, inclusive team atmosphere.
- Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example and embody exceptional Customer Service.
- Corporate Behaviour: Align with M&S behaviours and uphold Colleague Expectations across the store.
- Performance Support: Assist Colleague Managers by reporting observations to drive high performance and recognise outstanding colleagues.
- Store Assistance: Provide operational aid to nearby stores if required.
- Key Holder Duties: Hold key holder responsibility, including answering call outs.
- Operational Opening/Closing:
- Receive vehicles
- Oversee temperature control settings
- Log operational issues to relevant Helpdesks
- Manage cash handling
- Ensure compliance with TSL standards (Timeslips) during peripheral/off-peak hours.
