Shift Lead - Food - Boucher Road Belfast
Shift Pattern
Monday & Tuesday: 05:00 – 13:00
Wednesday – Friday: 15:00 – 23:00
*Note:* A **£3.00 p/h unsocial premium** applies to any hours worked between **22:00–06:00**.
Eligibility Applicants must be 18+ due to early shift requirements, in compliance with health and safety legislation.
Shift Lead Role: Purpose
This frontline leadership position is responsible for:
- Leading the fill operation, ensuring the store’s sales floor is ready to trade in the absence of a Colleague Manager.
- Coordinating resources to execute Serve, Sell, and Fill tasks during the fill period.
- Driving productivity through coaching on One Best Way and fostering a ready-to-open mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee the versatile allocation of staff to streamline operations and enhance the customer payment experience.
- Implement daily operational processes efficiently across assigned store areas, adhering to strict timelines.
- Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards.

Team & Customer Focus

On-Call & Keyholder Duties
- Serve as a ** Keyholder** for surname calls and operational callouts.
- Manage operational tasks during peripheral hours:
- Vehicle receipt.
- Monitoring temperature controls & TSL compliance.
- Cash handling.
- Documenting and escalating building/functioning issues via relevant helpdesks.
