Team Support Manager
Purpose of the Role
The Team Support Manager (Shift Lead) leads the fill operation, ensuring the salesfloor is ready for trade while coordinating resources to serve, sell, and fill. In the absence of the Colleague Manager, they take full operational responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Coordinate resources to deliver operational tasks during the fill operation.
- Lead the fill while applying One Best Way principles and driving productivity for store opening.
- Allocate resource effectively to ensure smooth and efficient payment processes.
Store Presentation & Safety
- Ensure the team delivers a clean, safe, and well-presented store.
- Enable all daily operational processes to be executed efficiently at the correct time.

Team Dynamics & Culture
- Build an inclusive team atmosphere.
- Act as a role model for Customer Service and uphold M&S behaviours along with Colleague Expectations.
Support & Collaboration
- Provide observations of colleagues to Colleague Managers, helping maintain high performance and recognise standout contributions.
- Offer support to nearby stores when their operational needs arise.
Security & Procedure Compliance
- Hold the responsibility of a keyholder, including answering call-outs.
- Oversee building opening and closing tasks, including:
- Receipt of vehicles
- Maintaining temperature controls
- Logging operational issues via designated Helpdesks
- Handling cash operations
- Ensuring TSL compliance (Transport & Storage Logistics) during off-hours.

Work Pattern
- Tuesday: 05:00 - 13:00
- Wednesday: 05:00 - 13:00
- Friday: 14:00 - 22:00
- Sunday: 12:00 - 20:00
